HOP UP`ers #10 Swap`n Show

The HOP UP`ers Swap meet in Vänersborg, has been welcoming enthusiasts for 10 years now.

Many had cleared out their garage and put a lot of stuff in front of hundreds of buyers this sunny Saturday.  Whether you want to just walk around in the area, look and chat with others, hope to discover the “hard to find" parts and accessories, it was exciting to be there....... you never know what you’re going to find!

I got Visitors

One of the sunny summer days in July, Perra and Peter came by for a short visit on their nice bikes, one Knuckle -37 and a Panhead -48. I really enjoyed the visit. It was great to line up the bikes for a photo together with my Knuckle -47 and later on for short run together before they ride away …..
However, my passion for their bikes makes me jazzed, so I forgot to include the BIKERS in the pics!

Mosten Race Days 2013 Denmark

On Wednesday this week my pal Ronney and I went to Mosten in Denmark on our bikes; it’s a total trip of 470 miles plus some hours on the ferries between Gothenburg and Fredrikshavn. The Mosten Race Days are one of, "the end of summer” events here in Scandinavia. It was a great event, together with lots of people (mainly bikers) who also took the chance to have real fun together with old and new friends.

There were many extreme bikes and cars to be seen in the pits and later on, the track on Mosten Race Days. It was for sure a very exciting weekend for all the Drag Racers and their fans.

Mosten MC had booked The Leningrad Cowboys on Thursday evening. They played a selection of rock'n'roll, ballads and covers, influenced by polka and sort of folkloric Russian songs. All presented with lots of humor, by the bands 11 Cowboys and two Leningrad Ladies….as well with their well-known absurd hairstyles.

We met the guy who today runs and owns Ronney’s old Shovelhead chopper…. Nice bike and biker!
