For Sale 1950 Mercury Coupe, full restoration.

This car was purchased by my friend Merle, 1970 in Pomona, CA, and remained in its original condition until the restoration began in 2010.  The car had no rust so no rust repairs have been done.  The original flat head V8 engine has been rebuilt and has less than 500 miles since being rebuilt.  The transmission is a 3 speed with overdrive.  The new single exhaust is whisper quiet.  The car retains the original 6 volt system and starts immediately.  The original radiator has been cleaned and the brake system rebuilt.  The car is painted royal bronze maroon in two stage paint, an original '50 Mercury colour.  All chrome has been replated and all stainless highly polished.  The interior was just completed by Mac's Upholstery in the original three colour-stripe material.  A new rubber mat and door sills were installed.  The trunk has been detailed with original pattern trunk liners.  New glass has been installed with the proper date codes, except the rear window, which is original.  The radio, heater and all gauges are all in working order.  We always recommend a personal inspection/test drive when buying any car, if possible.

  1. Perhaps, a developer has made the Lee Brothers, who own the site, an offer that they could not refuse? Maybe the brothers will develop it themselves, as they indicated a few years back. garage door repair
