Where Sheet metal Becomes Art

During the “Horse Power Days” in Årjäng the company, RH Metal Fabrication had “Open House”. It was possible to have a closer look at the shop and to be guided by the owner Rolf Hammarström. He shows his passion for this business, as well the fact that he is very experienced.  Rolf has a wide range of skills when it comes to metal works, whatsoever it is for MC, customs or original cars…..  

Hot Rod Reunion

They say it is the biggest hot rod and custom event in Europe “Hot Rod Reunion” at Malmby fairground near Strängnäs, Sweden. Hundreds of rods, customs, race cars and motorcycles participated in the race/show.

Weather you are wild enough to race or not, you can have a lot of fun just to go around and meet fantastic and crazy peoples and their vehicles. It is a rod and custom venue unlike none other, at least in Sweden!

Excelsior 1919

I find this Excelsior in connection with “Motordagen” in Borgvik. The bike was frankly parked in the middle of an MC parking with lots of "more modern” bikes around. When I had a closer look, I realized this bike is owned by one of my friends John, who have some really rare bikes. This one is from 1919, sold new in Sweden. The engine was called Big Valve X, a 61 cui V-twin with a three-speed gearbox. The company claimed when they introduce this bike, it was the "fastest motorcycle ever."

I love to see a bike in this shape, intact with the patina from all the years…..

Hammers Back to the 50`s weekend

It was as promised in the invitation an laidback weekend with nice People, Customs, Hotrods and MC!

The place”Locktorps festplats” is unlikely all others, the feeling is to be right back in the 50`s”.  It is located in the middle of nowhere and this was the place were people had fun on Saturday night in the 40`s and 50`s. The place got some nicknames as "Knocktorp" and "Boxtorp"!
