Flathead 1947 UL project in progress…

Still waiting for the fenders and some other parts from the painter, this pics show how far I’m in the project up to now. Probably this bike will be equipped with a sidecar, in any case I find one the other week. Again I got more work to do; as usual it looks great until you start work with it.

Brotherhood MC Old Bike SWAP meet

Earlier today I visited the well organised SWAP meet of Brotherhood MC Karlstad; there were lots of parts for old motorcycles. Whether you are building a bobber, chopper, rat bike, full dresser or just a customized bike, there was a great selection of parts for sale….Lot of individuals, mostly loyal Harley people show up, these bikers will be around for a long time!  

A hot jukebox and cold beer....

My buddy “Tvåa” and I were on tour the other week looking for a jukebox, we find a lot of cool stuff from the 40ies and 50ies…..  

    

Time travel to Mel's Drive-In!

Yesterday I feel that I mowed backward in time. I had the opportunity to visit the enthusiasts, here in Sweden, who has built up a “copy” of the San Francisco, Mel's Drive-In restaurant used in the film American Graffiti. They have built it up inside in the facilities were they house theirs cars….

The Flathead UL 1947 project in a new phase

Most of the parts are back from the painter, now I can see the project running again.
