The Flathead 1947 project extends

Almost ready to be fired up, the engine is now fully assembled and waits for the rest of the bike which is with the painter at the moment.

Yes, there will be a Buddy seat mounted on this bike after all… this one is up to my understanding restored to be accurate for -47 models.

They are only original once!

Patina is the ultimate, you can’t fake it, originality only exists once for a motorcycle, once modified it’s gone forever....

“Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.”

Somebody has cleared out don't tell your problems to people: eighty percent don't care; and the other twenty percent are glad you have them.

I have done what I could.... with the rear fender, but I was not satisfied with the result. So I had to contact my friend Mattias who run LeBeeF Kustom Metal Works for his professionally support. http://www.lebeefkustoms.com/

Thank you Mattias now I can go on!

The work to bring my old Flathead UL 1947 back on the road again has come to bee more current every day. The project started slow last winter....

The engine as well as the gearbox has been restored by my friend JK.

The frame is now ready after a lot of repairs. So far the brakes have been totally overhauled and I have added a new sprocket to the rear drum.

The name Edsel reminds us of the big failure. Today recognized as a unique vehicle!

This 1959 Edsel Villager has still the original paint, original interior and has been maintained very well over the years. This low mileage Edsel was imported to Sweden unseen from Los Angeles CA, in the middle of 2000. My friend Håkan has been the owner since 2006. Under the hood is a 332 cui V8 engine mated to a two speed automatic gearbox. Among many options the car has roof rack and rear wheel moulding and chromed fender skirts.
